WallNote

WallNote turns your phone's wallpaper into a note. It keeps the picture you already have and lets you write on top of it, so the thing you must not forget is the first thing you see.

What's in it

• Pen, marker and eraser (the eraser only removes your ink, never the picture)
• Text in 6 fonts and 4 styles
• To-do lists you can tick straight from the home screen
• Undo and redo
• Double-tap an empty spot on the home screen to edit
• A Quick Settings tile
• Tiny: about 400 KB

Private by design

WallNote has no internet permission. Nothing leaves your phone.

Good to know

• Android 8.0 or newer.
• It is installed from the APK file, not from the Play Store, so Android asks you to allow the install.
• It asks for "All files access" and "Photos". Android requires both before any app may read your current wallpaper. WallNote only uses them to copy the wallpaper.
• It works on the home screen.
